Your mobile phone number
Your mobile phone number defines you on Clustify. Your chosen username, Social Profile and Business Profile are assigned to the mobile phone number you register with Clustify.
Clustify routes messages between your registered mobile phone number and the registered mobile phone numbers of your contacts in a similar manner to SMS messaging.
Your address book
Your address book data will always remain private to you.
However, Clustify does use the phone numbers from your mobile smart device’s address book to give you option of inviting friends and colleagues to Clustify. Clustify looks at the phone numbers in your address book, then checks to see which of those numbers are verified in Clustify. This allows any Clustify users from your address book to appear as contacts in your Clustify Social and Clustify Business address books. Only mobile phone numbers are sent to Clustify during this process over an encrypted connection. No other information, such as names, emails, and addresses are used.
Clustify then uses the names you have allocated to the mobile phone numbers in your mobile smart device address book for first degree contacts. Second degree contact names that you observe in Social mode or Business mode will be the nicknames chosen by the Clustify contacts of your primary Clustify contact.
Clustify users will have access to your Clustify Business and Clustify Social address books if you both of you are on Clustify and both of you have saved each other’s mobile phone number to your respective mobile smart device address books.
No one using Clustify will have access to your mobile smart device address book data, only your Clustify address book data.
Your privacy is extremely important to us. Please read our <Privacy Notice> for further details.
